The Kindergarten Program uses phonics songs, games, and interactive charts to teach alphabetic principle including; Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Vocabulary, Fluency and Comprehension. The CD of songs teaches sound/letter correspondences, short vowel sounds and blending. Students can apply their new skills as they read the connected decodable storybooks with short vowel words.

This program uses catchy sing-along phonics songs that involve every child in every step of each activity to ensure individual success. The repetition, rhyme, and music fosters memory and skill mastery. Students track their progress as they move along the Kindergarten Express Track which serves as a scope and sequence.
